Clare Isaacs founded Sprout with a singular vision, to bring unique and creative ideas into the culinary world.
After a decade in the music industry, Clare found herself at the helm of her first festival in 2009. The premise was simple, to give chefs the headline slots and let the bands create the background music. Little did she and her collaborators know that this would give rise to a huge wave of 'boutique' festivals with food at their core.
A five-year stint at Wilderness followed, overseeing their food programme and collaborating with many of the UK's best-loved chefs.
At the same time, Clare was approached to launch NYC's 'Meatopia' concept in London and five sold-out years followed, each year curating and producing an international chef lineup. In 2017, Clare led the team in launching Meatopia Dublin, in partnership with Guinness.
The next project took Clare to Norway’s Arctic Circle with chef Valentine Warner, to produce ‘Kitchen On The Edge’, a culinary event series on the Lofoten Islands where world-renowned chefs and artists gathered for five intimate and immersive long weekends each year.
In 2020 Clare set up 'Sprout At Home', a bespoke and discreet service connecting well-known chefs with private clients.
Current projects include Homegrown, a collaboration with chef Richard Corrigan, an annual event on his estate in Co. Cavan, Ireland, and Lost Village, the award-winning festival in a Lincolnshire forest.
Passionate about restaurants and with an unrivalled black book of contacts, there are few chefs of note in the UK that Clare hasn't worked with.
